Inflammatory Arthritis

Inflammatory arthritis is a type of arthritis that involves problems with the joints related to the immune system and inflammation. In this type of arthritis stiffness and pain occurs first thing in the morning after sitting for a while. This is how it is distinguished from other types of arthritus.

Different types of inflammatory athritis are conditions in which the body attacks itself. The immune system views its own tissues are foreign and react by inflammation. Inflammatory arthritis is characterized by pain and swelling of one or more joints. Heat is common in between the joints. Chronic stiffness in the joints especially in the mornings is quite common. The effects of inflammatory arthritis start taking place after a minor illness such as flu. It may even be associated with extreme grief or bereavement. People with inflammatory arthritus usually have many joints that are affected.

Medical treatments such as anti-inflammatory drugs are useful in alleviating pain and inflammation. However, they do not cure the disease at its root. By undergoing medical testing, it is possible to find out why the body is producing antibodies against itself. Sometimes allergy to certain types of food, inhalants and chemicals are the cause and in some cases certain infections like Gonococcal, Gonorrhea, bacteria, virus, fungi etc are the cause. It is also important to do regular exercise and maintain a proper diet. Foods that can cause allergy must be avoided. Following a proper treatment pattern can certainly help improve your condition.
